Risk Assessments

I provide clear, practical, and fully compliant risk assessments tailored to your specific business, sector, and working environment. Each assessment is written in plain English, focuses on real-world risks, and includes achievable control measures that support safe and efficient operations. I take pride in delivering a high-quality, professional service, ensuring every assessment is thorough, up to date with current UK legislation and guidance, and adds genuine value rather than paperwork for paperwork’s sake.

What is a risk assessment

A risk assessment is a systematic process of identifying potential hazards in the workplace, evaluating who may be harmed and how, and putting sensible control measures in place to reduce risk. In the UK, employers and the self-employed have a legal duty under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 to assess risks and take proportionate steps to protect employees, contractors, and others who may be affected by their activities.

Accreditations

Health and safety accreditations show clients, contractors, and regulators that your business meets recognised standards for managing health and safety. For many organisations, they are essential for winning work, gaining site access, and tendering for new contracts.Schemes such as CHAS, SMAS, SafeContractor, Constructionline, ISO 45001 and other SSIP accreditations assess how well your business manages risk, complies with legislation, and protects its workforce. Achieving the right accreditations can give you a real commercial advantage—when they’re done properly. Why Accreditations Are EssentialThe right health and safety accreditations can:
- Increase your chances of winning contracts and tenders
- Instantly boost credibility with clients and principal contractors
- Demonstrate legal compliance and strong safety management

- Set your business apart from competitors
